Artistic Identity LLC was conceived to help professionals develop, plan and design signage and wayfinding systems with the purpose of visually communicating information effectively. We are a design consulting firm specializing in wayfinding, transportation, and environmental signage, providing services to engineers, architects, city planners, general contractors and directors at transportation related entities. 

Rob Jarvis is the owner and creative director, with twenty-five years experience working and designing in the sign industry. He began his career as a graphic designer for a small sign shop and over time evolved to a senior project manager for a custom sign fabricator. He managed signage projects at airports, public transportation hubs, local governments, universities, hospitals and cultural centers. Working with these types of entities deepened his knowledge in the fabrication and design of signs. He knows the material, construction and engineering process, all the different type of signage codes and understands how to bridge the gap between the design and installation process.

Our unique experience provides a useful perspective to professionals managing sign projects. We make ideas tangible and simplify the installation process by transferring ideas (or designs) to useable drawings for the fabrication and installation of signs. In addition, we offer supplementary services related to the design, planning and implementation of transportation related sign projects.
